Issues I treat include interpersonal conflict, grief and loss, parenting, life-transitions, trauma, depression, anxiety, anxious and avoidant attachment styles, addictions (including for those in recovery), emotional dysregulation, and difficulties with boundaries and trust. I also have additional training and specialization in suicide bereavement. Anger, guilt, shame, rejection, and stigma are common reactions to a suicide. I can help you process that devastating experience. I have the professional training and know-how to hear your story and how that has impacted you, even if it has been years since the loss.
I do not subscribe to a one-size-fits all treatment plan. My strength lies in my ability to learn who you are so that I can respond to you with help that is digestible to you. I will ask you questions, and challenge you when appropriate. My therapy approach utilizes training in many treatment modalities designed to help people identify and work through core issues and problematic relationship patterns. I work collaboratively with my clients, and my approach emphasizes accessing and experiencing authentic feelings, noticing habitual thoughts and reactions, and learning to live more consciously.
